Saffron is considered red gold in India. Known as a very valuable and expensive spice, it has been used since ancient times for its many benefits. <\/p>\n

Its extraction, as shown below, is very meticulous, requiring 150 meticulously handled flowers for 1 gram of saffron.<\/p>\n

Saffron’s phytochemical composition is found predominantly in the petals and stigma, the latter being the part of the flower that receives the pollen, which is actually the head of the filament in the center of the flower.<\/p>\n

    Saffron petals are rich in flavonoids, which are substances that have an anti-inflammatory and antioxidant action. Flavonoids also have a number of pharmacological properties <\/wbr>that act on the human body and are capable of bringing numerous benefits to the scalp. <\/p>\n

    In addition to increasing hair resistance, they are able to react with various types of free radicals that accelerate premature ageing, stabilizing them and thus forming stable compounds on the scalp, slowing down hair ageing.<\/p>\n
