Did you know that tea tree oil helps treat scalp problems?
Melaleuca oil, known as tea tree oil, is very complete and is known for its antibacterial, antiseptic and anti-inflammatory properties.
It is obtained from the leaves of a tree popularly known as the tea tree, which originated in Australia but is also cultivated in countries in Europe, South America and Asia.
In the past, this oil was often used to treat wounds on the skin and was later discovered and admired for its regenerating properties on the scalp.
Our scalp can suffer from certain infections or fungi that damage its health and end up compromising the hair structure.
It’s sometimes difficult to detect these changes and it’s essential to treat them, because healthy hair depends on a well-treated and balanced scalp.
Tea tree oil can help treat these infections, which sometimes appear as dandruff, flaking or itching. This oil cleanses the scalp and helps to unclog the hair follicles. It also acts to reduce itching and flaking.
By unclogging the hair follicles, tea tree oil contributes to nourishing the roots of the hair, thus helping it to grow healthily. By strengthening the hair structure, the hair is less prone to falling out and breaking.
Tea tree oil is also considered an excellent option for preventing lice and is therefore an essential product for washing and sanitizing children’s hair.
I recommend adding 4 drops of Avani tea tree oil to one of the following shampoos: Vitaminized Indian hair, Cold effect and Dry Indian hair (all of which are rich in equally antibacterial elements).
For oily hair, mix the four drops of oil with the vitaminized Indian Hair Shampoo and Cold effect, alternating washing with both.
For natural or colored hair, mix four drops of tea tree oil with Indian Hair Vitamin Shampoo.
For dry hair, mix four drops of tea tree oil with Dry Indian Hair Shampoo.
I personally love this oil and use it in a variety of ways; I mix a few drops in shampoo as I mentioned above, in skin creams, on sheets, pillows, nails to prevent fungus, between toes, hairbrushes and even a few drops in the water when washing the floor.
I hope you enjoyed this tip; try it out and give me feedback afterwards.
