The Name Avani
It was chosen because it means Planet Earth in the ancient Indian language Sanskrit, totally connected to the brand’s philosophy which, as well as being inspired by this philosophy, is mostly made up of products enriched with ingredients from Mother Nature. It was inspired by the name of founder Homni Bhanji’s daughter, who has the same name Avani.

The secret, in addition to the unique characteristics of our products, lies in the selection of their sets and the method of application – individually studied and tested for each hair type. The idea of this space is to make available to the customer all the teachings provided by Avani Professional in its communication, so that they can check them out and also learn how to apply them in their daily lives.
At our institute, a rigorous survey is carried out on the type and condition of the hair, and a treatment is personalized and applied with the selected Avani products. A step-by-step guide is also provided, along with an explanation of the proposed treatment, so that it can later be applied by the client themselves.

That’s why we’ve decided to donate 10% of the value of all our sales to educate female children in India. We chose this cause because, firstly, we feel that there are fewer educational opportunities for female children in disadvantaged communities in India. Secondly, because offering schooling to women influences not only their family nucleus, but also the people around them, thus creating a positive impact on society.
We believe that in this way we are contributing to the empowerment of women, which is a cause we defend.
We chose this cause in India because of our connection to the country and because we felt that our help would have more impact there. In addition, India is aligned with our ideologies of life where the Universe is seen as a family. We also feel it is important to give back to those who have provided us with all these teachings that we can now share with the Portuguese public.
